Randomly stopped here after work and was very satisfied. The house salsa is amazing! Guac was delicious, and tacos were fantastic too!
The fish tacos are delicious and are better than most Mexican restaurants...but the grilled fish combos that supposedly come with vegetables is misleading. They are not mixed veggies it's just broccoli which I cannot eat, I ended up in emergency and the doctors told me to avoid broccoli I had a heart attack. The pictures showing mixed veggies is false, its only broccoli. I like the fish tacos, they serve a small container of coleslaw on the side I like not on top like most restaurants do. That is how it's supposed to be served, it was 50 years ago.
Project: A fun lunch with friends, first dining out since pandemic outbreak!
This place is incredible! We went with 2 friends and I ordered the mojarra plate. Fish was fresh, cooked to perfection and everything on the menu was described to us perfectly by the enthusiastic owner. We each had something different and none of us were disappointed! This small local restaurant is the perfect example of a small treasure, a locally owned business that will now become a favorite dining spot. Try El Heroico Guymas and you too will be back. I have not had such good seafood in a long time! They also sell fish, tortillas, sauces and candy. Would have had dessert too but meal was so good none of us had room.
